Extra surprises

The more personal a wedding is the more memorable and special in my opinion, so here are a few added extras that you may not have thought of for your big day…

Hen do

If you are a bridesmaid or in charge of the bride’s hen do it’s always good to give her something to remember, so we have a variety of presents that can be personalised by the rest of the hens to remind her of friends from memory books, to canvases which can be signed to framed artwork which you can leave your messages on. Alternatively if you have a present in mind please contact me as I like to create new things, and if the bride has chosen to use us for some of her wedding plans we can ensure it is in the same style.

Ring pillows

Make sure that your best man doesn’t loose the all important rings, and have something to keep as a momento or to put your ring on when you do the washing up in my husband’s case after loosing it at work once! They come in a variety of designs, with a simple pocket to a ribbon to tie them in place and as with everything else come in a standard range of colours or can be specified to match the rest of your wedding plans.

Well it is tradition, and if your groom is going to wait all day to see it then why not wear a handmade garter, sized to fit you and personalised to suit your colour scheme and theme.

Wedding party presents

You have to admit it, you wouldn’t get to your big day without some help from friends and family, and especially those in your wedding party so say thank you with an extra special handmade present which will remind them how valuable they are to you and of course of your big day.

Guest book/messages

When we got married I wanted to create something that could be hung on the wall for us to remember our guests every time we walked past it so I created a textile tree on a canvas and we asked each guest to write/draw/mark a tag which I then sewed on to make the tree look like it had leaves of messages. To save money you could always get a book yourself and just ask your guests to sign it, but to make it a bit different you could get some ‘milk envelopes’ of different shapes and sizes and some tags and ask your friends and family to choose a tag and an envelope to keep it safe, so each one you pull out could be a surprise.┬áIf you don’t want a standard guest book then alternatives include finger print trees, or if you have a pre wedding photo shoot you could get one of the photos printed on canvas or large scale and ask your quests to sign it.
